After school, I went to my grandfather's office and saw him watching calligraphy videos on his laptop. It was a demonstration of calligraphy, and my grandfather told me it was the "reface to the Holy Teachings" in running script. In the video, a person was writing while explaining, using red ink. The writing was so beautiful that it looked exactly like the printed characters. I watched it with great interest. I realized that every stroke made by the writer was excellent, and I thought to myself that I want to write beautiful running script in the future. For now, I have to focus on getting my regular script right. Our calligraphy teacher once said that mastering regular script is a prerequisite for writing running script.
