贫穷的真意

      One day a rich father took his young son for a holiday.They went to the country.He wanted to show the son how poor people can be.They spent a day and night on a farm.It was a very poor family.When they got back from their trip,the father asked his son,"How was the trip?"
      "Very good,Dad!"
      "Did you see how poor people can be?"the father asked.
      "Yeah!"
      "And what did you learn?"
      The son answered,"We have a dog at home.They have four.We have a pool that reaches the middle of the garden.They have a creek that has no end.We have imported lamps in the garden.They have the stars."
      When the litte boy finished,his father was speechless.
      His son added,"Thanks,Dad,for showing me how  poor we are！"

“很好，爸爸！”

“你看到人们有多穷了吗？”父亲问。

“是的！”

“你学到了什么？”

儿子回答说：“我们家里有一只狗。他们有四只。我们有一个到达花园中间的游泳池。他们有一条无尽的小溪。我们在花园里有进口灯。他们有星星。”

当小男孩说完后，他的父亲无言以对。

他的儿子补充说：“爸爸，谢谢你向我展示了我们有多穷！”
