Pavilion of Prince Teng
In ancient times, Yuzhang was a province and Hongdu was a new settlement. The stars aligned and the earth met the Heng and Lu mountains. The provinces were surrounded by three rivers and five lakes, commanding the land of Yue and Ou. The treasures of nature and humanity shone brightly here, with the light of dragons illuminating the Cow Constellation, and the people of Xu and Chen sitting on the same couch.
Heroic cities formed a misty line, with outstanding talents like shining stars. The temple dedicated to the god of land and the prince's descendants was located at the junction of Yi and Xia, and guests and hosts from the southeast gathered to show their beauty. The governor Yan Gong was respected and his banners were far-reaching, while the yifan of Yuwen Xinzhou was elegant and his curtains temporarily hung.
During the ten-day vacation, many friends came as clouds, and over a thousand miles, high-ranking friends came to fill the seats. The legendary creatures rode a dragon and ascended to the sky, and the legendary generals articulated purple lightning and blue frost in their arsenals. My father served as an official, and we entered a famous district. As a child, I was unaware, but now I experienced the joy of victory.
It was September, the season of autumn. Flood waters have flowed away and the cold waters are clear, smoke and light have condensed into purple mountains in the evening. The fine horse passed up the road, seeking scenic views at the Chong'a Monastery. It reached the Long Island of the emperor's son and found the old mansion of heaven and man. The layers of mountains rose above the clouds, reaching the sky, and flying esoteric pavilions flowed red below. Distant cranes perched on the banks of islands, and the palace of osmanthus trees and orchids showed the figure of the surrounding hills.
Foliage and green bamboo grew in the elegant garden, and there was an insurmountable atmosphere from the Pengze wine vessel. The red flowers of the Ye River shone on the brush on the bank of the river. Four beauties come together and two difficulties are combined.
The gaze is far-reaching, looking at the universe, and the interest is limitless, enjoying life leisurely. The sky is high and the earth is remote, perceiving the infiniteness of the universe. The spirits rise and sadness comes along with it; one recognizes fullness and emptiness of numbers. Looking at Chang'an and Wuyue, and gazing upon the land of the South China Sea and the North Star, there are unreachable mountains and the deep southern seas. Who can sympathize with a man who has lost his way? Meeting in the rapids, they are all guests from afar.
My father guarded the door, but he didn't see him, and I followed the imperial palace for how many years? Alas! The times are not equal, and the journey to life is full of twists and turns. Feng Tang easy to get old, Li Guang difficult to be ennobled. Qu Jia Yi was exiled to Changsha, but he had a saintly ruler. Liao Hong was banished to Haiku, why was he short of a prosperous era? It was due to the fact that gentlemen understand timing and know their fate. Old age makes one stronger, and one should not abandon one's youthful aspirations. Persistence strengthens one, and one should not abandon one's determination to succeed. Enjoying greedy springs makes one feel refreshed, and being stuck in drought-ridden paths is still admirable.
The North Sea is vast and the flying pillars are reachable; the east corner has already passed, and the sunset is not late. Meng Chang had noble integrity, and he missed the opportunity to serve his country; Ruan Ji was wild and unrestrained, but he did not follow a life of despair! Bo could only achieve three feet, he was just a scholar. He asked for a ribbon for military service, waiting for the age of weakness; and hoped to achieve the longevity of a hundred years, and still admire the long wind of Zong Que.
Shedding my ceremonial dress of several centuries, I pay homage to the guests of a thousand miles. Climbing high to write this poem, I hope to show off to the public.
