Dear classmates,
On July 23, 2023, I am sitting here writing this article to all of you. We are about to enter sixth grade, and our time together is only a little over a year left. It's not about being sentimental, maybe it's just... wanting to leave a memory.
I am often fierce, using the trendy phrase, a "violent girl". I don't know how to explain it, because I have been "violent" since first grade. I apologize... apologizing might not necessarily change your perception of me, so I won't apologize, will you not judge me? I am trying hard to change this image because I don't really want you to remember me as "oh, that's the violent girl" or "this person is really fierce" after graduation.
To be honest, our class has a very "lively" atmosphere. Boys are always noisy, and girls are not much quieter. As soon as class is over, it's chaos and commotion. But even though our class is noisy and doesn't look that good, it's still better than Class One and Two where there is no free time and they always have piles of homework. Students always love to play, and it's all about balancing work and leisure, and besides, even though our class is noisy, we can still study. In the recent exams, we didn't rank last in all three subjects, our English can even compare to Class Four and One, our Chinese is A++, and math is also good. So, we should be able to balance studying and playing, let the class atmosphere stay "lively", I actually really like this kind of atmosphere, so let's keep it going.
Also... it's fine if we are noisy after class, but let's not be noisy during class. If we make the teachers less angry, our grades will improve, a win-win situation, isn't it?
I read a sentence in a book yesterday, "The two places in this world where miracles are most likely to happen are hospitals and arenas." We are fighting on the arena of learning, each of us facing the wind and riding the waves. I'm not trying to feed you with inspirational quotes, I'm just advising you, make the most of this last year, maybe you can get into a better junior high school. The recent "Three Little" (referring to three top junior high schools in China) has gained a lot of attention, and I'm sure many people in our class want to take the exam. I guess there are quite a few of you who play games like Honor of Kings and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, you are already riding the waves in the virtual arena, so why not strive for the academic arena? Only when you try, put in effort, even if you fail, it will still be valuable experience.
Those who fail should strive to pass; those who pass should strive for good; those who are good should strive for excellent; and those who are excellent should strive for better. Because there is no best, only better.
Cherish this time, this most beautiful time.
Because perhaps, the next time we open the classroom door, it will no longer be us...
Sincerely,
